MERS-CoV: All you need to know [infographic]

Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) is a viral respiratory illness first reported in Saudi Arabia in 2012.

Since May 2015, the virus has reached Korea, making it the largest known outbreak of MERS outside the Middle East. The virus is particularly dangerous to people who have underlying medical conditions and have a high fatality rate of 36% in those infected. There is currently no vaccine or specific treatment.
